The Hunter Book Review was founded in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We read, wrote, and edited through a year of implosion. And we learned that books present us with escapes from our world, but also — and perhaps more importantly — with entrances into it.

For the past year, books have showed us how to look at our lives anew, and change them for the better.  Within this repository of reviews, recommendations, letters, and artwork we hope you find a book that does the same for you.
